What Makes Upper Valleylands Perfect for Families?

Toronto real estate agent, Steve Jelenic, was recently working with a client looking for a new family home outside of downtown Toronto, and he recommended Fieldgate’s Upper Valleylands in Brampton!

When considering buying a preconstruction home, Steve suggests that you look into the builder’s track record, which is great advice! We have 60 years of experience and have a reputation for delivering a high quality home on budget and on time, so Steve was more than comfortable recommending Upper Valleylands.

As Steve and his client bounced around the GTA in search of the right home, they discovered something – many of the homes they were looking at had small backyards. At Upper Valleylands, green space is emphasized with spacious yards and there will be 30 acres of green space and walking trails!

Steve’s client also works downtown Toronto, so they appreciated Upper Valleylands being so close to the Mount Pleasant GO Train Station, which can whisk you down to Union Station in 30 minutes!

“Staying connected is vital when purchasing out of the core, and a 30 minute train ride keeps you in touch with downtown Toronto’s hottest attractions,” Steve writes.

A few other nearby amenities ideal for families include Chinguacousy Park, which features an outdoor skating trail, picnic areas, tennis courts and volleyball courts, and all the shopping and restaurants in downtown Brampton.

Cassie Campbell Community Centre is a short drive away and offers family activities and programming within a wide range of facilities, including a fitness centre, a lap pool, two ice rinks, a BMX skate park, and much more!

Brampton is also a beautiful city when it comes to arts and culture. Living at Upper Valleylands, you’ll love having the Peel Art Gallery Museum + Archives (PAMA) nearby. The exhibitions and programming at PAMA are a fun time for all families!
