How to Prepare for Your Visit to a Fieldgate Sales Centre

Prepare for your visit to a Fieldgate sales centre

Now that our sales centres in West Brampton, Kleinburg, and Whitby are open, we want to ensure you’re as prepared as possible for your visit to see us and browse our selection of new homes.

Here are 5 things to remember for your visit to a Fieldgate sales centre:

Initial payment

When you decide to buy a new home from Fieldgate, there will be an initial payment required depending on the community. The amount will be determined based on the product type, and the cheque will be deposited approximately one hour after your agreement is firm.

Bank mortgage pre-approval

In order to finalize your purchase, we require a mortgage pre-approval from a bank. Knowing how much you qualify for also helps narrow down your options when browsing the sales centre. Fieldgate has a designated bank and bank representative for each community that offers preferred mortgage rates that protect their purchases.

Your personal cheque book

When you sign your Agreement of Purchase and Sale, we will require deposit cheques, which will be post-dated based on the deposit structure set up for that specific community. The amount will also vary from project to project. Please make sure you have a minimum of five cheques!

Photo ID

This is also needed to finalize your purchase. It must be a valid government issued photo ID, like a driver’s license or passport. Tip: If you don’t have photo ID, you can apply to receive an Ontario Photo Card. This is even good to have so you don’t have to carry your passport around and risk losing it.

All offers are firm

When an offer is firm, it means the buyer is legally obligated to purchase the home once the offer has been accepted.

Now that you’ve read the above, you’re prepared to visit us in West Brampton, Kleinburg or Whitby to discover the home of your dreams! Visit our website for home details and sales centre locations!
