Celebrate Canada Day in Aurora!

Looking to change things up this Canada Day? You should come celebrate in Aurora and experience how amazing this community is!

The celebration kicks off with the Canada Day Parade at 10 am. The parade starts at Yonge and Orchard Heights Blvd., then travels south to Murray Dr. The rest of the festivities take place in Lambert Willson Park until 11 pm.

The largest attractions of the day are the Car Show and the 2015 Aurora Teen Idol Competition finals. The Car Show features antiques and custom cars owned by residents of Aurora, and there are raffles and prizes for car owners and attendees. The Aurora Teen Idol Competition showcases the best of the best singers in Aurora from ages 12 to 17. This is a great example of the amazing support Aurora has for its arts community.

In addition to these two major events, residents of Aurora will be enjoying a free pancake breakfast, a horseshoe tournament, a large petting zoo, numerous performances by local artists, and of course the night will be capped off by fireworks!

Conveniently, Lambert Willson Park is just a five minute drive from our Aurora Trails sales office, where we have a great selection of townhomes and semi-detached homes! There is also a very limited selection of 38’ and 43’ singles remaining.
