How Are You Celebrating the Holidays in Aurora?

Fieldgate Homes is very proud to be contributing to the growth of the incredible Aurora area with our successful Aurora Trails community. And we’re also looking forward to celebrating the holidays in Aurora with everyone!

Tomorrow, the Santa Under the Stars Parade is taking place along Yonge Street from 6 pm to 8 pm. It may be warm and rainy today, but the weekend is supposed to cool off, so maybe there will even be snow for the parade! Even if it doesn’t feel like winter, you should still pack a thermos of hot chocolate to sip on while taking in the parade with your family and friends.

If you can’t make it out to see Santa at the parade, don’t worry, he’ll also be at Aurora’s 10th Anniversary Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 9th. The event will take place at Aurora Town Hall from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

The Town is packing a lot of very fun activities into these two hours. The Salvation Army’s Brass Band will be leading the caroling, there will be a fire eating performance, and there will be games, crafts, and ornament making for the children. There will also be a live theatrical performance put on by the Canadian Children’s Theatre Company!
