3 Ways to Make the Most of Summer in Brampton

Summer events in Brampton

School is right around the corner, but there are still plenty of opportunities to enjoy summer in Brampton!

We’ve highlighted a few fun, family-friendly events coming up this week!

Participate in a nature walk

Guided Nature Walk in Brampton

The next stop in the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s Guided Nature Walk series is Heart Lake Conservation Park in Brampton. The 1.5km walk is family-friendly with an easy-moderate difficulty. Make sure you bring your swimsuit because the walk ends at a pool and splash pad! The walk is on August 22 and it’s free!

Get your pup some ice cream

Ice Cream Social in Brampton

Yes, you read that heading correctly. You like ice cream on a hot summer day, right? Well, your dog probably does, too! Visit Posh Pets Studio in downtown Brampton on Friday for the Ice Cream Social. There’s dog-friendly ice cream available for you pup, and you’ll receive a high-res photo of your four-legged friend enjoying their treat. Then enjoy the rest of your afternoon getting your own ice cream and strolling around downtown.

Party in the Lanes

Party in the Lanes in Brampton

The Ice Cream Social is scheduled at the same time as the final Party in the Lanes of the summer! There’s fun going down in three different lanes, featuring salsa lessons, belly dancers, live music, a fashion show, and there’s a kids’ lane with face painting and other activities. Party in the Lanes is one of the best parties in downtown Brampton, so don’t miss the last one of the summer!
