How to Celebrate the Holiday Season in Vaughan

Vaughan holiday season

The holiday season is now in full swing in Vaughan! There are three big events over the next few weeks that you should know about.

City of Vaughan Toy Drive 2019

In support of the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish, the City of Vaughan is collecting unwrapped toy donations for children (newborns to 18 years old).

Until December 6 at 8pm, you can drop off your donations at community centres, Joint Operations Centres, public libraries, and fire stations. If you don’t make it to one of these locations before December 6, you can drop off your donations at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Mackenzie Dr.) up until December 9 at 5pm.

Join neighbours and other members of the community at City Hall on December 6 for the highly anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony! There will be music, tasty treats, and this is also a good opportunity to drop off your unwrapped toy donations for the Toy Drive mentioned above. The event goes from 7-8:30pm.
