Things to Do in Brampton Before Summer Ends!

This has definitely been an unconventional summer, but the kids will be back to their studies in no time, so you should take advantage of the few Brampton attractions that are still running!
The Rose Theatre

One of the biggest attractions in Brampton is The Rose Theatre. The venue is still closed, but their Rose at Home series features the best of local talent via online concerts. You can tune into The Rose’s Facebook Live or Instagram Live channels to support and enjoy the best performing artists that Brampton has to offer. The Rose is also offering a variety of online education and youth programs!
Peel Art Gallery Museum + Archives

Another huge draw in Brampton is PAMA, a place where you’ll discover the stories of Peel, engage and admire local art, and learn more about your vibrant community. While the exhibition spaces are still closed, PAMA is offering art activities and virtual exhibitions. There are also opportunities to get behind the scenes with curators to get a closer look at everything that PAMA has to offer. You can learn more about PAMA’s current programming on their social media platforms.
Eldorado Park

Located just five minutes from our Upper Valleylands sales centre (8676 Chinguacousy Rd.), Eldorado Park is one of Brampton’s favourite outdoor amenities. The two playgrounds are temporarily closed, and the picnic areas are not available to rent, but the outdoor pool is open! Reservations are required for the pool and you have to book your time slot in person (at least one hour in advance). Each swimming session is max 45 minutes long.
Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre

Another one of Brampton’s best outdoor spots is Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre. The trail around the lake, as well as the lake and beach are open. There is currently limited service at the snack bar. The water slide and beach volleyball area are closed, and the change rooms and community rooms are also closed. Though a few of the areas are restricted, the lake trail itself is beautiful enough for an afternoon walk with your family!
