2 Drive-In Experiences in Richmond Hill Your Family Will Love!

There’s still plenty of summer left! Don’t let the heatwave keep you indoors. There are plenty of events worth attending, especially a couple big ones in Richmond Hill! 

Concerts in the Parking Lot

The Concerts in the Parking Lot event takes place at the Richmond Hill GO Station overflow parking lot at the northeast corner of Major Mackenzie Dr. and Newkirk Rd. This is a drive-in experience, so you and your family will remain in your car to enjoy the show. 

The next show is tonight, featuring CZN and Noa. The show starts at 7:00pm and ends at 8:15pm. Gates open at 6:00pm and you need to show proof of registration to enter. Registration is free! 

A few things to keep in mind: there are no pets allowed, washrooms are available, and each car load should consist of members of the same household, plus one other person if that additional person lives alone.

Moonlight Movies

In the past, these outdoor movie nights have been hosted in the park, but due to COVID-19 safety measures, it’s now a drive-in movie event, which is also super fun! 

Moonlight Movies will take place at Richmond Green Sports Park, right next to our Richlands community at Elgin Mills and Leslie. The movies start at 8:30pm and registration is required. 

The next showing is The Incredibles on August 23rd. The following shows are on select Mondays until September 20. To see the full schedule and to register, click here!
