Ontario Science Centre
This attraction isn’t just one of the best in North York, people travel from all over Ontario to visit the Science Centre! It’s a place to explore, learn, and have fun. One of the current exhibitions is called Planet Ice: Mysteries of the Ice Age, which dives back through 80,000 years of Earth’s icy history.
If it’s your first time visiting the Science Centre, make sure you pick a date you want to go and then book your tickets in advance. Check out the website to see what other exhibitions are on, and there are always interesting and educational IMAX films and live demonstrations happening. If you ever have any questions while exploring, ask one of the Hosts in white lab coats, they’ll be able to give you an answer and offer more insight.

Aga Khan Museum
The Aga Khan Museum is the first museum in North America exclusively dedicated to Islamic arts, Muslim culture and history. With a vast array of exhibitions, programming, and performing arts, a visit to Aga Khan is always educational and inspiring.
The current exhibit is Hidden Stories: Books Along the Silk Roads, which explores books, scrolls, and other manuscripts that impacted and documented life on one of the most important trade networks to ever exist. Hidden Stories ends on February 27, so you should check it out soon!

Black Creek Pioneer Village
It’s all about experiential learning at Black Creek Pioneer Village. You and your family can immerse yourself into the 1860s and experience history like never before. Explore heritage buildings, gardens, historic artifacts, and heritage breed animals. You’ll love the costumed educators who can answer any questions you have about their particular trade in the 1800s.
There are no special events coming up at Pioneer Village, but there are some virtual events right now, like field trips, workshops, and Black History Month programming.
