Jefferson Forest in Richmond Hill: Site preps for construction
We released our latest phase of Jefferson Forest in Richmond Hill back in February of this year and received a fantastic response, with many people braving the cold to camp out overnight for first shot at the lots.
Five months later, the site is now preparing for construction with the land cleared and plans scheduled to build these new homes. Jefferson Forest is an already well established community in Richmond Hill and from what our sales centre staff tell us, prospective homeowners are coming from all over southern Ontario to take a look at our latest offering.

Richmond Hill: Who’s buying at Jefferson Forest?
Prospective home owners are coming from all over — Scarborough, Toronto, and even Richmond Hill — to find out more about Jefferson Forest. From young families to empty nesters who want to move closer to their kids, there is no doubt that the area is greatly appreciating.
In most cases, people are looking to upsize or invest. But surrounding green space such as the quintessentially Ontarian Oak Ridges Moraine attracts visitors, and so do the new retail spaces. Pat, sales manager of Jefferson Forest’s sales centre, explained that Richmond Hill and Oak Ridges have a small-town flavour without being too far from Toronto.
The Oak Ridges Moraine is one of the most significant landforms in southern Ontario, formed over 12,000 years ago by glaciers
Currently, townhomes at Jefferson Forest are sold out with four singles remaining. Phase 3 will include townhomes but there is no release date yet. Occupancy for Phase 3 is set for July – December 2013.
